Historical overview:
In
1992 Norway was one of the first countries in the world that legalized
partnership between two people with the same sex. The very first
Norwegian gay organization was started in 1948. Since then many
organizations in Norway have fought for human rights. Norway has a
number of gay and lesbian artists, writers, politicians,
actors,actresses ,priests musicians, athletes and journalists.

LLH
aims at working for the equality of lesbian, gay and bisexual (LGB)
people and their liberation from all forms of discrimination. This
organization had its early beginnings in 1949, when the Danish gay
association accepted two representatives from Norway back in 1948.
Later in 1952 LLH continued fighting for criminal prosecution and
discrimination. LLH concentrates on gender-neutral law of marriage, gay
adoptive parents,hate-related crime and the other legal rights. They
give out information to the Norwegian government and other
organizations. They also work on liberating gay and lesbian people
