Trondheim fishing areas! Fishermen and other people who enjoy fishing always wish to find the best Trondheim fishing areas.
That's why rivers in central Norway such as:Namsen, Stjørdalselva, Gaula and Orkla make them totally excited.  Trondheim Fjord is one of the best fishing areas in Trondheim.There are lots of salmons in those rivers, some of them are over 25 Kilo!  There are also smaller rivers around Trondheim where you can catch trout, mackerel and cod. You can enjoy fishing hunting, fishing charter,fly fishing and go for an amazing fishing trip in central Norway. We have  fishing charter in central Norway. troutHow  relaxing is to pack for a fishing trip and camp somewhere in central Norway. Sitting by a river, waiting to catch this huge trout! Then make  a bonfire, clean the fish, season it, put the butter on it and fix a delicious dinner while drinking some cold beer! Don't forget the potatoes and vegetables! The Fosen peninsula located at the northwest side of the Trondheim fjord.You see wide mountains plateaus and charming Islands.  There are
lots of great places for fishing from the shore or a small boat, and there are plenty of excellent areas that you can explore.
You can also go for mountain climbing, diving, farm holiday and windsurfing in Fosen.


SalmonLIf you want to catch Salmon, then you gotta make a trip to åfjord.

Åfjord is one of the best fishing places and competes with the best Trondheim fishing areas!
This town is located in Fosen peninsula, South of Trøndelag, one hour driving by car from Trondheim.
There are only 1200 inhabitants who live in Åfjord. This town has two of Norway's best Salmon rivers such as: Stordalselva and  Norddalselva.
There are over 1000 lakes full of fish in Åfjord municipality!
Stordalselva river has given a special beauty to this small town. People from Germany, Sweden and the other countries come to Afjord for fishing. Fishing season begins from May 15 th to August 31st.

There are five Salmon stairs in the river and camping options.

A card: valid from 17:00 PM - 02:00 AM
B card: valid from 3:00 AM - 12:00
from Jluy 15th - August first 12 hours 300,- NOK

You can also try North of Trondelag for fishing such as: Gaula and Namsen.
Gaula is one of the Norway's best salmon rivers. You can use tubefly or worm to catch big salmons, make sure to get there very early in the morning since there are many areas that will be taken by the others.

Namsen has also lots of salmon in verious sizes. You might catch one up to 20 Kilo! There are many fishing boats that apply different methods to catch salmons ( Laks in Norwegian).
