Pirbadet
This swimming hall was designed by Per
Knudsen company and Asplan Viak Sør company. The total area is 15000
sqm with gym, sauna, steam room, bobble bath, health studio and slides.
Pirbadet is located by the fjord and uses purified sea water instead of
chlorine. There are 3,5 million liter water become filtered and pumped
constantly from Trondheim Fjord. The air conditioning handles 370.000
KG air per hour.
Pirbadet is constructed out of glass. When
you are swimming or relaxing in the warm bubble bath, you can enjoy
viewing the fjord and beautiful sceneries.
I swim 5 days a week at pirbadet and
believe that swimming is one of the best physiotherapies in the whole
wide world, especially for those who suffer from lower back problem i
strongly suggest to try swimming . Since by constant swimming or
relaxing in the water, those small nerves that are located at the lower
back will be loosen up and relaxed, so your body can function normally.
Pirbadet has also a very strict security system such as:
cameras with good zoom function, plus two extra cameras that are
installed under the water. This is one of the best swimming pools in
Trondheim.
