Norwegian currency

Norwegian currency is krone,sometimes called Krones and Krona. The symbol for NOK can be written Nkr which is divided into 100 Øre. The 50 Øre( made of brounze) and 1.5.10.20 kroner (made of Copper-Nickel) are the coins.

ATMs ( minibank) usually dispense 200 and 500 NOK notes. The images on the notes represent the personalities important to Norway's history.There are various banks in Norway such as SpareBank 1 midt Norge, DnB NoR, Post banken, bank Norwegian, Vesta, Storebrand ,Bluewater, Gard, Nordea and various branches of SpareBanken.
